El Willy”Fun F&B Group” was founded in 2008 by Spanish Chef Willy Trullàs Moreno in Shanghai, China. Willy and his team have created fun F&B projects that now are presented under the group umbrella. Since the opening of the first restaurant in 2008 -el Willy” Happy Spanish Restaurant- specialized in modern “Sexy Tapas” and rice dishes, we have been developing different F&B concepts in several Asian cities such as Shanghai, Hong Kong, Manila, Saigon and Bangkok.

Our soul is Spanish but as we love to have fun, we have ventured and created such different concepts ranging from, Japanese inspired cocktail bars and restaurants, Mexican Tacos & Tequila, Spanish Japanese Izakaya, Mediterranean and a very sexy Hot Dog shop. We are constantly traveling and looking at inspiration on improving current concepts and developing new ones in Asia and beyond.

OUR LOCATIONS

El Willy “Fun F&B Group” is the result of several years of a Chef’s hard work in Asia. Since his arrival to Shanghai in 2007, Willy has created fun F&B projects that now are presented under the group umbrella. Since the first adventure in Shanghai, this is our story of developments in Asia.

EL WILLY DONGHU LU

“el Willy” opened its doors in a 1928 colonial villa in Shanghai at no.20 Donghu lu, in the heart of the former french concession, back in 2008.

EL COCTEL

“el CÓCTEL” is Willy ́s second project in Shanghai. A Japanese style Cocktail bar with a funky twist.

FOFO BY EL WILLY

“FoFo” by el Willy opened in Hong Kong as a brother of “el Willy”. Mr. Alex Fargas, in FoFo’s kitchen, is Willy’s Hong Kong twin.

BIKINI

“BIKINI” Snackies and Hot Dogs opened in a 27 sqm venue in Yongfu lu (right under “el CÓCTEL”).

ELEFANTE

After a big renovation, the old house in Donghu re opens as “Elefante”, a new Mediterranean concept.

FERIA DE ABRIL

In elefante we used to organize parties. BIG parties. Some of them are part of the legendary days of Shanghai, like Feria de Abril in Elefante.

TOMATITO TAIXING LU

“TOMATITO” was born in 2014 in Shanghai’s Taixing Lu. A casual Sexy Tapas version of “el Willy” restaurant.

EL OCHO

“el Ocho” a new Japanese style cocktail bar in a beautiful historic Shanghai landmark.
